All mine

poem by: Keith Jepson

It's four in the morning I'm sat by some rocks,
The sand feels so cool better than socks,
The sun is just rising, wow what a view,
And every morning it is so brand new,
Finn and I are sat taking it in,
It feels like we own just about everything,
Folk would think that it's a daft time of day,
but it is they who miss out that is all I can say,
The view on its own is amazingly good,
You could feel the same, and I am sure that you would,
It is so alive with terns and sandpiper,
If you listen to them they all seem quite hyper,
The sea is so calming it starts by saying 'hush'
And when it gets nearer it seems in a rush,
Look in the rock pools and what can you see?
I am certain you will see things differently from me,
So try it someday you will enjoy the time
But don't come too often.. because it's all mine!
