An Ode to my Younger Self
I give accolades
to the younger me,
For being intelligent and
sharp as can be,
For being so clever,
so poised, such a star,
I tip off my hat,
Cos you come very far,
You have struggled through
sickness and also bad health,
Then started to take better
care of yourself,
You are so very gifted
You have such a style,
When you see what I mean,
I guarantee you will smile,
You are just so talented
So, just wait and see,
You will be so impressed,
That it's hard to believe!!!
