AMERICAN JUSTICE

poem by: Kenvil Atkins

He is now on the world stage a good place shot it’s a sell
Birds of a feather flock together with the bad gunman from hell
Too close for comfort and yet too far for an opinion on success
Firing a shot in the dark missing its mark the duck went quack
And that’s a fact who shot Trump? A vagabond spirit poor sad sack
Violence begot violence hate is the enemy our tolerance is zero
All that glitters is not gold but what politicians will do if untold
To secure their party’s gold they will walk the line even blindfold
Let it be told that American justice will prevail with silver or gold
He stands to gain momentum all leaders now beating their Tum Tum
Before you do remember the insurrection or the words fight like hell
Tone down the rhetoric Donald we are not all wearing whistles and bells
Stand firm Senior yes you will cross the line win or lose, it is ours to choose
