Storm

poem by: D'Vina Dietrich
Written on Apr 01, 2015

Rain falls,
Hitting me hard.
Tears from my eyes.

Thunder roars,
Shaking me entirely.
Deep in my chest.

Lightning strikes,
Slashing my heart.
Ending my pain.

This poem inspired me to write "Tempest" (check out my works if you would). I have been reading your poetry closely. I have works titled "Lost" and "Dark Corner". "Who am I" reminds me of me. "Nonet" was cool and "Numb" very sexual. I like this years series of poems you wrote, most. "A Sestina For My Twin Flame"; comment from husband was a nice touch, forever newlyweds I assume. Sir you married a poeta. Keep inspired.

Any poem that involves death always captures me. This is short and darkly sweet. You are a great writer. Keep it up!
