In the presence

poem by: Ryan Barger
Written on Sep 06, 2015

Suddenly
I couldn't stand
As I drifted
Into timelessness
Endlessness
And I couldn't tell you
If the sun was shining
Only that I was sitting there
Talking
Listening
I remember every word
And it was bright
And the colors in the sky
Were beautiful
And I can say
I was in the presence
Of someone far greater
Far wiser
Far more powerful
Than myself
