TEARS FROM HEAVEN

TEAR DROPS FROM HEAVEN COME FALLING DOWN ON ME
REMINDING ME OF THE BLOOD HE SHED THAT DAY FOR YOU AND ME.

SOMETIMES ITS HARD TO EXPLAIN WHY I CRY WHEN I SEE AND FEEL THE RAIN

OH I KNOW THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD, IT ONLY TAKES A SPRINKLE NO IT DOESN'T TAKE
A FLOOD

WHEN I WONDER WILL THESE LITTLE SEEDS I'VE SEWN EVER SPROUT, EVER GROW?
WHEN I THINK IT'S BEEN SO HOT THE LANDS SO DRY, I FEEL WETNESS TRICKLE DOWN FROM
MY EYES.

JUST AT THAT MOMENT OF DARKNES AND PAIN, I FEEL SOMETHING OVER ME
YES , IT'S THEN HE SENDS THE RAIN.

RAIN LIKE A MILLION TEARDROPS COMING FALLING TO THIS DRY PARCHED GROUND
IN THE MIDST OF FEELING LOST, IT'S THEN I KNOW I'm FOUND.

oH TEAR DROPS FROM HEAVEN COME FALLING DOWN ON ME, RELEASE ME FROM MY PRISON
AND TRULY SET ME FREE.
