Believe in Him

poem by: Timothy Nelson
Written on Oct 04, 2015

There are times in our lives
when things just don't go right
We become so frustrated
that we give up the fight

We forget about our faith
and look to man for survival
Forgetting His words of wisdom
and forgetting His revival

Didn't He perform miracles
for all to see
And didn't He help Moses
by parting the Red Sea

Didn't He raise Lazarus
from a dreary tomb
And wasn't He born
from a virgin's womb

When things get tough
bad news may come in many forms
But our Lord on high, our Savior
can quiet the coming storm
