Footsteps

Down the dusty road He walked
Through the seeds already sown
With a face that showed un-ending love
And an ending already known

This road, it led to Cavalry
And ended on the cross
But He just kept on walking
So our souls would not be lost

This road we can not walk
For man can't accomplish His task
But the rewards from His sacrifice
He'll give to anyone who ask
