Homeless

poem by: Ryan Barger
Written on Oct 29, 2015

Do you look at them
Or do you just walk by
Do you look at their faces
Do you look in their eyes
They walk the streets
They sit in the park
Do you even notice
Or is you're path too dark
Do you know their stories
Have you walked in their shoes?
These people hurt
Respect Is due
Can you spare a dollar
A bite to eat
Can you give them a drink
Do you even think
That it's cold at night
That they might need warmth
Can you spare a blanket
Do you even care
That their close to death
Would you even dare
Do you have a clue
Have you felt their pain
It comes again
Then again and again

Great theme, I wrote a poem about the same subject matter back in about '82'. I will share it with you as soon as I can post it. It is inspirational.
