Life is very short

poem by: Ryan Barger
Written on Oct 29, 2015

A late night walk
On an empty road
It was strangely clear
Like part of a dream
Or maybe it just seemed like a dream
And I spoke with a man
At the end of the road
Who was strangely like my father
Who has been dead for many years
Even listening to one of his favorite tunes.
Life is very short
And there's no time
For fussing and fighting my friends
Friendly conversation
And a strange warning
I felt like Marty Mcfly
Caught in a time warp
But life is very short
And there's no time
For fussing and fighting my friends.
