I don't mean to misbehave miss,
I'm not ignoring you in school,
I'm just making my mark miss,
I don't mean to play the fool.
I'm the one you will remember,
When you're retired and going grey,
I'm the one that helped to make you,
The great Teacher you are today..
I don't always understand things,
And when I'm stuck I never ask,
I always aggravate my classmates,
When I'm challenged by the task.
I'm the one that made you think,
Of different ways that you could show me,
How to learn all my times tables,
And make Science fun for me!
Although there will be days,
You'll be so filled with regret,
I'm the one you will remember,
You're the one I won't forget!
