A secret shared unknowingly

A secret shared unknowingly

I understand, you do not know

My heart it bleeds, I feel your woe

You do not know, I see it all

I am you, you are me

so separate we are, yet together we be

Trapped in a world, paranoid, seeking, always seeking

Afraid of what they will think

But you, so special must see, it is they who should fear thee

Do not look at the them as great, for they are touched with ill and hate

Whilst you have hidden away

One day, you will see...that you were chosen to be kept that way

For the special ones always are

So far from from ill, yet you cannot see

This is how it was meant to be

You are too precious to be ruined

By humanity

Looking back I feel your pain

How I have changed yet you remain the same

I look at times with some regret

Wishing that I like you had not met

My innocence was light, my heart was pure

Though filled with fear seemed somewhat obscure

No longer I fear like you, once before

Yet, my innocence is gone, my heart unsure

Be brave my secret would tell you

Care not what they think

Your innocence is light, your heart is pure

Though filled with fear, of that is sure

No longer should you fear like once before

For your heart dear brother, is the purest of pure.
