Shining Stars

poem by: Rachel Cartwright

The dawning of night
Brings shimmering light
As I gaze at the stars above
I begin to see the worth of me
And the glorious plan he has
The reason to live
The purpose of life
The wonder of it all
The breath taking dreams
The ironic amaze
I close my eyes and see it all
No matter how much the fight...
The clouds may hide the diamonds
But I can see through the clouds
I know the stars are shining bright
Beyond the hazy clouds
Steps of faith is what I see
I look beyond what my eyes see
The stars of plans he has for me
Is more than I could ever see
How great of dreams he has for me
Is more than a mystery
But for now I will wait
I will keep looking up
Despite the deadly clouds
The stars are there
Still shining bright
Twinkling with His delight
Demonstration of His love
And the glorious plan he has, is
The reason to live
The purpose of life
The wonder of it all
The breath taking dreams
The ironic amaze
I close my eyes and see it all…

I looked at the stars one night.
The clouds represent the bad things that get in the way so you can't see the good things and the stars represent the dreams and all the plans that God has for you. It is talking about when you are in a trial, all you can see is clouds and you can't see the stars. But you got to have faith and believe the stars are really there, because they really are there even when you can't see them.
