Tormented

poem by: Ayesha Aziz
Written on May 17, 2016

Tormented, tortured deep inside..
A mind in turmoil peace tries to find..
Blood from the heart drips as tears that blind..
Suffocating on the lies her soul been fed..
She drifts in desolation, her sanity hanging by a thread..
Bruised, defeated and icy cold..
Still her head held high she does hold..
A smile fixed upon her face..
Within the depths of her eyes her sorrow lays..
Hidden, cloaked n sheltered deep inside..
Her tears will fall but never from her eyes..
