We Danced

poem by: Coreatha Mccoy
Written on May 29, 2016

As we danced the night away
and the music stop no longer plays
we danced
as yesterday seem to go away
but today is another day
we danced
I remember our wedding day
you took my hand on the sand
under the moonlight
we danced
that beautiful smile and the way you held me
a night i didn't want to end
as we danced
felt like just me and you in the room
as we danced
just one more time lets dance the night away
and we danced
