Kissing Gold

poem by: Theresa Taylor
Written on Jun 26, 2016

I feel the pain
i feel the cold
I was your main
She, shiny new gold
If happy is being hurt
then I'm happy for you
True heart beneath this shirt
Is slowly ripping in two
You made your plan
A brilliant escape
While I held your hand
didn't mind that you went out late
Lipstick on your collar
A kiss of passion, a kiss of death
I see no point to holler
An idiot can see the rest
