Cyber Brides

poem by: Cecilia Crasto
Written on Jul 13, 2016

There comes a time in a young man's life
When he might consider taking a wife
Modern technology will help him decide
To make the decision in choosing a bride

Dating sites they say is the way to go
He'll take his chance and go with the flow
Looks are deceptive he knows very well
A beautiful woman can lead you to hell

He'll cruise the net cover much terrain
In his quest to find the elusive Jane
He's looked for her in clubs and bars
Even cruised the streets in fancy cars

He might consider a reality show
And marry a woman he doesn't know
Perhaps it's just the thrill of the chase
If everything fails he'll rest his case.

Pa and Ma once made the decision
And chose a son's bride with perfect precision!

You really crack me up Frank, actually we share a lot in common, I met my future husband when I was 14 and he was 17 and we married 9 years later, he passed away in 2009. My son also named Frank has a great sense of humor like you, life and soul of the party, and I suspect you are too~cheers to Frank the comedian!!
