Prayer of the Lonely

poem by: Theresa Taylor
Written on Aug 29, 2016

Most nights I pray for you
I plea for you come home
So ridiculous but it's true
I ask strength for my soul
My spirit's so weak
But nobody ever knows
nobody ever sees
"That Jesus is a liar!" I curse
As I toss, I turn, no sleep when I'm alone
Be my Savior
Please come home
