The Lost Footsteps

poem by: Dinesh Chauhan
Written on Aug 30, 2016

The footsteps, I followed
From my childhood
That took me nearer to success
That made me realize of bad and good
And capable of visions
Of my own decisions

But suddenly, vanished
At the instant, when
The way forked into two
First led to my ambition
But was full of hurdles
Another was distraction
Full of illusions
All alone depended on a choice

                                                                DINESH KUMAR CHAUHAN
