I'll Be Your Regret

poem by: KayleighMarie Fitzgerald
Written on Sep 29, 2013

You never even knew that I existed.

At school, on the street, in the park, at a party.

You just saw right through me. Not that I was invisible, you were just oblivious to whowhat and where I was.

I still live in the past, and so you are still fresh in my mind. But one day, I'll move on. And then you'll notice me....

And it will hit you.

I was there the whole time.
