Tell Me It Is Not Love

poem by: Annie Kirby
Written on Oct 20, 2016

Moonlight
Crawls into my window
Like  cool breeze
Echoing within my soul

And I'm looking
Up at the stars
And I'm thinking
I should be where you are

Kissing the night away
Imagine us like this forever
Your hands in my hair
My hands caressing your skin
The smell of love in the air

Like cinnamon
Love so sweet
Tangy, alluring
Dangerous,  sometimes misleading
Tell me it isn't love
