A twinkling star fell from high It landed on a muddy track It looked so pretty in the sky I picked it up and sent it back. I watched a spider weave and spin A delicate web for an innocent prey It's only purpose to draw within The little fly I shooed away. A baby bird playfully falls from the tree A cat spots it's prey and quickens his pace I rescue the bird and set it free The cat is defeated and gives up the chase. A butterfly struggles in a young boy's grip It's wings about to be ripped away I tap the boy's hand and he lets it slip The butterfly lives for another day. To all His creatures God gave a name We must cherish them with tender love It's in our power the lion to tame He too was made by the Lord above.
