The hidden truth

poem by: Rebecca Xilion
Written on Nov 06, 2016

The flow of blood
and sinking core of the night
leads into the trenches of my lonely saddened mind

But there's a light
And the light I see
leads me to nature
the sun, and the breeze

cold and warm
brings me to believe
this is all for a reason
And there's no dying need to leave

I will go back to past places
Hand in hand with my love
Erasing memories of my death
and replacing them with love

Eyes that wander
find meaning in now
Eyes straight forward
always find what they're looking for
Eyes that rest, they always dream
Eyes that smile, they always gleam.

The truth is hidden
in what you can't see
it's realized in the feelings you believe
what is right?
no one knows
Each petal is different
on this rose

Take it from my hand and then you'll see
you will not break
you will not die
until it's meant to be

Beautiful poem, nature is God's gift and a healer.
Christopher Russon commented:
Lovely poem with a deep meaning some times the truth is hidden becouse it isn't always that clear I feel.
