Cigarette Sessions Vol.1

poem by: Robin Lucas
Written on Nov 17, 2016

I feel the ember race
toward my fingertips
I do not stop it,
I force it to my lips.

I let it burn me
before I let it go,
A reminder that
this is killing me

But I smile
because it felt so good
while I did.
Time to go.
Break time is up.
