Shining Star

poem by: Gail Newman
Written on Oct 11, 2013

The warmth of the sun upon your face
The summer breeze blows through your hair
Why did you leave without a trace
I turn and hope to see you there.

I need to feel you in my arms
I need to feel your touch
Your face I see with all it's charms
You know we shared so much.

So alone I feel today
As now I walk as one
To you I have so much to say
But my lips feel sealed and numb.

I call your name and hope
You have not gone too far
I sense you watching over me
Beyond a shining star.

                                       Gail Newman.

So beautiful a poem. Of a loved one truely missed. If they're watching from above. You are surely blissed. Thank you for the lovely words
