KISSING GAME(WE WERE)

poem by: Mishley Nim
Written on Dec 10, 2016

The tongue does not have bones,
But is strong enough to break a heart,
Long back,
I did for once believe,
Of the truth you claimed,
Clouded in white- peace and quiet in heaven,
And so we were...

One kiss, just enough,
To show how far you are willing to go-
Only on the cheeks, a mere nibble on the ear,
Or down to the throat,
How far? You went so far,
And so we were...

Kissed me, I kissed you back.
Tingled in my sleep,
Oh! It was you,
How fast we shared a bed,
How fast I believed,
So then we were...

No better lie than a kiss.
So, so fast,
Just like scudding clouds,
Kissed me, I kissed you,
Bodies glistening with sweat,
Lock and key, Key and lock,
So we fit into each other,
And so we were...

Pink lips, tender kiss,
Touched not only fair skin,
Made my heart race against the wind.

Opinions are like noses,
Everyone has one,
Mine? Yes we were,
I owned you, you owned me,
Loved you so,
That I'd let my enemy live,
And see you die,
To spare you life's wrath.

But oh! Lips cam be rough too,
'All over! It was just a game'
'Grow up please! Didn't love you so!'
So to you,
It was just a game of kisses,
Hence we were.

We were,
Were we trully?
