The Pawn

poem by: Martyn Grindrod
Written on Dec 28, 2016

Second Rank I stand
Eye for an Eye
Sacrificial Lambs
Seven Foot Soldiers and I

Step by Step
Bravery and Valour we bring
Readied for Battle
Lord Protectors of our King

We may be killed
We will stand tall
We will fight tooth and nail
We will answer the call

For the Grandmaster
We're prepared to die
Black or White
Up for the Fight

Thank you
