Have you ever?

poem by: Michelle Vargas
Written on Nov 03, 2013

Have you ever,
loved someone so much:
to know they've left,
your words turn into dust.
You try to talk,
scream and breathe.
But nothing come out,
so you drop to your knees.
All you could do,
is cry for help.
But at the same time,
you just want to lay there;
holding your stomach,
wishing for pain to go away.
Yet you know,
that won't happen today.

The pain of Love, Lost love whether it be by end of relationship or Death is exactly your poem, Michelle and more. I could feel the pain as I read your poem. Thank you. Hope you are good. George.
greg woods commented:
We are so vulnerable to our happiness being in the hands of somebody else. The fact that they can be hard enough, or cruel enough to reject and ignore our pleas and feelings can be soul destroying
Theresa Taylor commented:
Yes, I have.
