Lonely

poem by: Cierra Arrendale
Written on Jan 29, 2017

Rain falls on my window pane
But you're not here so its not the same
Lonely is as Lonely does
And I'm as lonely as i ever was
I lay here and watch the clock
Counting the minutes cause you're all I've got
Waiting on the sun
Praying morning comes
To end this eternal night
Lookinf forward to the blinding light of starburst blue eyes
I get lost and I drown inside
It's so easy to lose myself in you
