Mum will never feel the same

Mum will never feel the same

The pain is clearly showing unbearable for our mum
Seeing her all alone, body feeling uncomfortably numb
She is lost, bewildered scared and looking so very sad
Mum's darling husband and how we all miss our dad

Being silent withdrawn, our mum is grieving so much
Her sole companion, why is this life so double dutch
For no-one will ever know exactly how Mum feels
It's going to take a long time for her pain to heal

Our mum whom we all love will never be the same
Having no-one to shout at and not anyone to blame
Always a strong woman who's been through the mill
Can't sit here and watch as she slowly loses the will

Me knowing one day you'll both shall be together again
Deep down in mums heart our dad will forever remain
Loving one another as vowed "until death do us part"
For Dad will always be sincerely locked in mums heart

With all my love
Caroline
