When you're feeling lost and saddened, when you feel you've lost the fight. It's amazing how you get the urge, to pick up your pen and write. To write away your troubles, that occupy the mind. To take away those harmful fears, the results of a daily grind. I wonder how many people, feeling in a state of distress. Have written a suicide note, when they could have written less. They could have written down their troubles, of past, present and future events. And instead of turning anger upon themselves, onto paper, their anger could vent. Of who they hate or who they like, of feelings of guilt from the past. Of things they hadn't dare tell anyone, free of this burden at last. What a wonderful form of therapy, has been this paper and pen for me. To let go of guilt, grief and loneliness, for the Lord can read also, you see. After you've finished writing, your troubles down today. Read a few times what you've written, and then put the book away. If what you've written, makes you feel, embarrassed or insecure. Read it through, then throw it away, or burn it, just to be sure. You will be facing many of your problems, and sharing them with the Lord. You will be finding many solutions, to problems usually ignored. What a wonderful form of therapy, for the families of today. To write down all their troubles, and then throw the things away. Fuel for the Aussie barbecue, as the family sits around. All their troubles they would have shared, without a word or a sound. So if something you've done, rides you with guilt, and no-one tell, you dare. Write it down on paper, and maybe say a prayer. You may have lost your Mother, Father or closest mate. The person you used to confide in, but its still not too late. For even if you're on your own, with no-one close who cares. You can perform this little ritual, and avoid the snickers and stares. The pen and paper is a wonderful thing, that can unlock the goodness in you. You may even find you have a talent, that you never, ever, knew. But if you let it all build up, and just write one fateful note. Your loved ones will be heartbroken, while your enemies may gloat. So if you have some memories, haunting and causing you strife. Write them down on paper, and lighten up your life. If upon completion, the depression does not leave. On another piece of paper, write the goals you want to achieve. It may be your goals just for the day, the week, or for the year. You'll be surprised how you reach those goals, or get very, very near. Yes the Pen and Paper is a wonderful thing, if used in a genuine way. A turning point in life, HAVE A VERY NICE DAY.
