Out with the old in with the new

Along with the new & out with the old
I'm excited to watch my futures journeys unfold.

Too long in a rut, too many memories of pain
In past years of experience in the life I refuse to throw down the drain.

So up I stood, on my own two feet
Head held higher than any souls in lifespan I'd greet.
I wore a smile that was convincingly to others
When I'd fallen deeply in a life when all else fails & all else smothers.

A false facade worn upon my smiling face
As I walked upon this earth in a structured up straight tall grace.

For I shall never be one to fall
Further than the pits of the heavens call.
No Satan he will not get me in his homely he'll
Deeper than the deepest ever hole or graves that dwell.
