You're Beautiful

You’re going out tonight, you put on a lot of make up.
You’re wearing a short skirt, and almost revealed your top.
Looking at the mirror, asking me “Am I Pretty?”.
I smiled as I replied, “You’ve always been so Pretty”.

You claim you’re a new girl, one I've never seen before.
Going to party all night, date guys better than past suitors.
You traced your lips, with a red colored cosmetic.
But it doesn’t really conceal, the underlying artistry.

Only if you know

How beautiful you are, by just being you.
Stop looking at the mirror, stay on what’s always true.
Never a party girl, just a simple weird one.
My Kate Middleton, don’t be a Kardashian.

So just stay with me tonight, wash the stains in your face.
Below the gleaming moonlight, you make my heart race.
Though you never seem to get it, despite countless times I told you.
I want to tell you again and again, “You’ve always been so beautiful!”.....
