Happiness

poem by: George McLaren
Written on Jan 11, 2014

Happiness.
The problem.
The Eternal search goes on for all of us.
The elusive pimpernel of life.
Like the object we look for everywhere
And just cannot find.

Because it is in our pocket, all along.

Happiness.
The solution.
Strike it from all books; take it away.
We will not look for what we cannot see.
And behold in its non existence, finds us all.

Because it has been in there, all along.
