Clandestine

poem by: Martyn Grindrod
Written on Jun 29, 2017

Meet me at Noon
'neath hanging branches
Where sun hides shine
Clandestine

Chance encounters
On lay by's of roads
Incognito disguises
Spineless toads

Best kept secrets
Another stolen kiss
Hotel meetings
Furtive trysts

Hiding in the shadows
Morals quashed
One false movement
Marriage Squashed

thank you
