DEMENTIA

DEMENTIA
I don’t know where I’m going
Forgotten where I’ve been
I don’t know what I’m doing
Can’t remember, what I’ve seen

I don’t know what I’ve done
Nor what I did it for
I don’t know who I am
Nor who I was before

I don’t know who you are
Or why you’re here with me
I don’t know how to say
Please, just set me free

A well composed and philosophical poem. An easy read but a hard topic to get to grips with.
