My Humble Abode

poem by: Freesa Khan
Written on Jan 11, 2014

Seasons change with such great difference,
Some choose cold, while hot is my preference.
Snowflakes all of different sizes and shapes,
Flowers of different colours and makes.

Leaves fall gently in the autumn breeze,
Some oak, some dogwood, and from maple trees.
Some attractions include our beautiful falls,
The CN Tower and various malls.

A diversity of culture is how we made our mark,
From Chinatown, Gerrard street to Algonquin Provincial Park.
There are subways, buses, streetcars and planes,
and the VIA Rail is an amazing train.

So come one come all to this lovely country,
Canada welcomes you to the land of the free.
