Touch the stars a villanelle by Jude kyrie

So...What if I touched the fire of a distant sun?
Elevating upwards through the crystal air
Where breaths departed one by one

Childish wild hearts seek the grasp of fun
With immortality just a gift to share.
So...What if I touched the fire of a distant sun?

Beyond the earth seeking loves song yet unsung.
Floating and rising above air and care.
Where breaths departed one by one.

In hazy meadows, a song is sung
I pray for soft and cooling air
So...What if I touched the fire of a distant sun?

I fall back to earth my sojourn done
So distant from the planet's glare
Wher breaths departed one by one.

The loss once started with no regret to come
Lay trapped in destinies unbreakable snare
So...What if I touched the fire of a distant sun?
where breaths departed one by one.
