Time's Past

poem by: R.T. Aquinas
Written on Oct 04, 2017

It is times that did pass
When we were in class
And I loved thee
And I thought thou didst love me.

I was wrong,
I admit in the words of this song.

But now I am fed-up of being constantly asked
If I still have feelings for thee.
I admit, I did hide, my feelings were masked,
But I confessed, and thou didst reject.

A return to friendship would be ideal;
But I dislike thee: that's how I feel.
