You only see from the outside
But I see from the inside looking out.
With each visit I get I know my times coming to an end.
Yet I still hold on. My mind works perfectly but my body is failing me, yet I still hold on.
Restless I lay hair gone grey
Bones so brittle one touch could break
Yet I still hold on.
Time passes.. I could not hold on.
I was laid to rest.. with the comforts of my loving family around me.
Now it's time to explore the many mysteries of the world - for my soul is still active.
