I`LL ASK

poem by: Georgina Richardson
Written on Mar 12, 2014

I`ll ask the wind to sing a lullaby,
To soothe your furrowed brow.
I`ll ask the sun to shine on you,
To heal your heart right now.
I`ll ask the stars to light your way,
I`ll ask the moon to shine clear.
I`ll ask the snow to sparkle,
Whenever you come near.
I`ll ask the rain to gently fall,
So you can hide your tears.
But most importantly I`ll ask the Lord,
To look after you whenever I`m not here.
