HOT TEARS

poem by: Georgina Richardson
Written on Mar 12, 2014

Do not shed hot tears for me
Please, do not let them flow.

For I am no longer
I am but a delicate heartbeat away.

My soul envelops you now, with love
As my caresses did in life.

There is no relief, in hot tears.
For they only bring searing pain.

Think, of the devotion we had.
Of it`s purity.
Your heart, is my, forever more.

Think only, of the great love we nurtured.
Of the happy hours, we spent.
Of the beauty and light, we shared.

Remember, how magically our souls fit together.
Within the great glove of life.

Release all those memories.
Release them, from the layers of time,
Where they lay, hidden away.

Remember the intimacy, of our love dance.
The beauty of its performance.

The melody of our thoughts unspoken.
The rhythm of two hearts beating as one.

The endless glow,
The heat of our desire.
You honoured me with all that,
And so,
So much more.
