MOTHER EARTH

poem by: Georgina Richardson
Written on Mar 12, 2014

There is only one Mother Earth.
Patient, generous, beautiful and true.
No other friend in all creation
Would be as good to you.
For all her love and generosity
She asks only one thing in return.
That you work with loving hands
And all her lessons, make sure to learn.
Don`t take her gifts for granted
All her miricles are precious, each one.
Each new seed, cherished and planted
Each unique life planned, before it`s begun.
So love each morning as it dawns,
And treasure each sunset, as the day ends.
Remember that her work is incredible,
And our lives without her would end.
When you look at the heavens above,
And see the bright shining stars.
Of her miracles,
That is just, ONE.
Each and every breath you take,
On the path of the life you`ve begun,
Is a miracle all by itself,
So take care of Mother Earth, everyone.
