An Unmet Friend

poem by: R.T. Aquinas
Written on Apr 13, 2018

I never met this man before I started writing here
He leaves heart warming comments and always gives me cheer
I always love to read his poems
Even though I don't really know him
I consider him a friend on this site
And he so often reads what I write
Even his simple replies mean oh so much
And through great wording he stays in touch

The man is great in his own right
One of the most supportive people I've met on this site
Out in this world, where things are turning black
It's great to have a friend who's always got your back.

So this one's for you, Dear Friend,
And it's still not nearly enough
To show you how much I appreciate
Reading all your stuff
We might not know each other
But we've learnt quite a lot
So once again, Dear Friend, I give you my thanks....
