When will you learn

When will you learn?

When will you learn?
When will you look and see?
Why don’t you look you idiots?
Is this the way to be?
This planet, it is part of you
You are not separate
Yet as you rob it of its life
Such damage you create.

When will you learn?
We must have trees to breath
You fill the air with poisons
And what do you achieve?
When you blow up bombs beneath the sea
What do you do, you fools?
You guarantee that all too soon
You will destroy it all.

When will you learn?
As you bleed our planet dry
You take all of its goodness
Do you want it all to die?
Why do you hate all beauty?
As you kill our barrier reef
When will you learn, you idiots?
As you fill my heart with grief.
