It may be to you. But it is part of our culture, religion and tradition. It has been practices for centuries.
I do feel sad for the boys.

Hi Sxisha Prafa Dia, What country are you in? Do they cut away all the foreskin completely? Based on your description they just cut it and then burn it. This would be very painful and very dangerous because of the infection it could easily cause. What is their reason for doing this to a young boy?
Best regards,
K River

Hi Prøvo River
We are in Diopray of the Great River Forest - I think you would call it Amason?
All the skin, yes. Most painful I am told so.
But there have never been infections caused by it.
It is meant to test the boy's strength, to see if he is worthy of becoming a man. It is also a deterrent from seeking men pleasure without permission.
