Falling

poem by: Chel Scott
Written on Aug 22, 2018

There is madness inside me,
and it's killing all my dreams,
the insanity crept into my mind,
now I'm falling apart at the seams.

I can't see anything clearly,
every thought is a misty haze,
each feeling now is questioned,
leaving me confused and afraid.

There is no light I can see,
I'm so lost in my own head,
will this lunacy ever end?
Or is my common sense really dead?
