aloner

The feeling of loneliness is of disparity
I wish I could fill that void.
Lonely nights of a missing body
To run to the warmth of anyone is to relieve the cold
I trek in the bitter cold
Not knowing where to go
The warmth of your embrace
Is a dream I walk away from
The warmth of your breath
Is a whisper of times blowing by

Loneliness in the night is as if the world has left and the only light you see is the light of the loneliness inviting you to embrace under the blanket on a chair with the other

I hope to still be another
I wish I could miss being your one
But that too has gone like the wishes of a birthday candle
Blow it out and turn on the darkness
Blow me away in the whisp of life turning me away
Loneliness is my comfort
Because it’s all I am allowed to.
