a pen

poem by: Craig Croyle
Written on Dec 29, 2014

i pick up a pen and then,it all goes away.
all the day to day
bullshit,aggravation,agony
that riddles me
a pen and then it all goes away
all the everyday
misleading outside manipulation and information
meant for degradation
a pen and then its only me
not one bit lonely
a pen and then
i'm putting my inside outside for all to see
a pen and then
i hold my guide to my deepest thoughts and emotions
a pen and then
every thing is alright until i must put the pen down
