Me And You

poem by: Kim Bond
Written on Jul 02, 2020

We started out talking
Just being friends
Who knew what would happen
In the end

Then we met up
In Ballymoney
And I have to admit
I found you funny

When it came
To the end of the day
We said goodbye
And parted ways

Another time we met
In Belfast City
And I realised
You were quite witty

We saw each other
Some more until
You asked a question
Leaving me still

I was worried
Thinking it wouldn't last
But you've reassured me
And that's in the past

Now we're a couple
And we've been together a while
One things for sure
You always make me smile

We just clicked
From the very start
And I love you
With all my heart.
